Because their name is kind of annoying from here on out I'm just calling it Thrive.
I tore into her package and quickly dumped the contents onto my lap. Inside there were 3 packets of capsules, 3 funky sticker looking things & 1 pouch of powder. I was a little bummed to learn that only one pouch came with the three day trial because I like to play mad scientist with my vitamix to try different recipe combinations when I try new "shakes" because 99% of the time these health shakes taste chunky, artificial, chalky & gross. But it was free to me to try so I was happy to dig in and try this system out.
Upon waking & before your feet hit the floor, pop the two pills
(I noticed that drinking 500mls of water really helped kick start the process)
Within 20-40 minutes make the shake with water or milk as per the directions.
(I used almond milk)
Throw on the DFT patch on a clean & dry area of skin.
(I used 3 different body parts for this to see if any were better than others)
All in all, the instructions were easy to follow, this is one of the first type of supplements I was able to easily take on an empty stomach without barfing. The patches definitely stuck very well, they didn't peel or fall off & the shake was remarkably smooth and good tasting.
In my opinion, these little buggers are the crown jewel of this company/system/product line.
I popped two upon waking & chilled out for a few minutes in bed. Typically ANY pill on an empty stomach makes me throw up pretty instantly, so I wanted to be prepared. I was pleased to experience that not only was I kind of buzzing after about 10-15 minutes, but I was VERY alert, which is very strange for my morning-zombie-until-2.5-cups-of-coffee-self & I did notice a nice rush of energy. Let me point out here, stimulants have been my best friends since I was 18, I am no stranger to the big bad ephedra, (until it became illegal) double sized energy drinks, red eye coffees, pre workout pumps and the like. I am a naturally high energy person, I talk fast, I walk quickly and like going through life like a tornado. Keeping that up has always required jet fuel of some sort :)
But back to day 1, I was able to focus on some computer work which is always the hardest part and the true challenge. Usually 2 hours of editing or designing makes me want to be lazy and eat. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I powered through my to do list of the day and didn't falter. Around 6pm I did begin to worry about being able to sleep. I still felt like I was buzzing. Finishing my day ahead of schedule allowed me to chill out with a few episodes of Game of Thrones & then somehow like magic I slept a glorious 8.5 hours and woke up feeling fresh the next day.
Day 2 & day 3 of the capsules did not fail to disappoint, did not experience any "crash" or jitters.
Both days I had a laugh because I made my usual morning coffee....
.... and forgot to actually drink it. I was cleaning up for the evening when I noticed my full coffee mug sitting in the Keurig machine. All this energy and no coffee or cravings?! This fact alone made a believer out of me!
1. Just water
2. Almond milk
3. Blended with a handful of fruit
I refuse to invest another dollar into a shake/meal replacement that the only way I can stomach it is by mixing it with 10 other things and obliterating it with my blender.
The Thrive Lifestyle Mix was super easy & smooth shaken by hand in a tumbler with both water and almond milk and actually tasted pretty great. It still is a little bit chalky, however, it is the least chalky shake I have ever tried.
They did not peel or fall off over the 24 hour period and it wasn't ouchy to remove them. So I guess that is worth mentioning too.
